What is this role?

We are seeking a Lead Copywriter to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a leadership-level position perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to own our content and SEO strategy. You will be the voice of our brand, helping us disrupt the cybersecurity industry by turning complex technical concepts into engaging, high-impact content. Please note that this role is open to US citizens and requires occasional travel for team strategy sessions.

What will you do?

• Take charge of our website SEO by ensuring all content is perfectly optimized to increase our keyword volume and search quality.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our business goals and helps us reach the top rankings for key industry terms.
• Collaborate with our demand generation team to produce a wide range of assets, including white papers, blogs, emails, and webinars, that effectively move prospects through the sales funnel.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in both creative writing and technical SEO. We value candidates who can think analytically and use data to refine their approach. You should be an edgy writer who can make complex cybersecurity topics feel approachable and exciting.

• At least 4 years of experience in copywriting or content marketing, ideally within the cybersecurity or compliance space.
• Proven success in driving SEO results, including experience with keyword research, on-page optimization, and managing content in WordPress.
• A self-starting, agile mindset that allows you to thrive in the fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment of a startup.
• A Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, error-free work under tight deadlines.
