Junior Software Engineer at Osomprivacy

The role

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This position is perfect for an early-career professional with one to two years of experience who is eager to contribute to the design, development, and testing of our privacy-focused software. You will work from anywhere, collaborating with our team to push the boundaries of user-controlled technology.

Core responsibilities

• Develop and implement new user-facing and custom features while receiving guidance from our Senior and Lead Engineers.
• Execute on P1 and P2 features to enhance our product offerings.
• Conduct research into emerging and future technologies to determine how they can be integrated into our product roadmap.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in software engineering and software development. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following:

• At least 1 to 2 years of professional experience in software development or relevant design projects.
• A proactive and resourceful mindset, with the ability to complete tasks with minimal direction.
• A data-driven approach and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
• For applicants based in the United States, you must be authorized to work in the country.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $110,000 USD, supplemented by bonuses, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. Your specific compensation will be determined by your location and experience level. Our perks include:
