Junior Marketing Manager at refurbed

Our mission is to make sustainable consumption the new standard, allowing customers to purchase high-quality items at a significant discount while reducing CO2 emissions. Since our inception in 2017, we have scaled to over 300 employees, completed three major funding rounds, and successfully delivered hundreds of thousands of products. We are currently seeking a Junior Marketing Manager to join us on a 6-month contract, working remotely to support our expansion in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Key outcomes

• Support all marketing initiatives within the Dutch and Belgian markets.
• Collaborate with our global performance marketing team to localize and refine marketing strategies.
• Oversee social media platforms and provide guidance to our creative team regarding visual assets.
• Refine our brand messaging and positioning to resonate with local audiences.
• Identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities specific to the Dutch market.
• Scout, evaluate, and manage affiliate marketing partnerships.
• Partner with our product and tech teams to localize features that drive conversion, engagement, and retention.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the Dutch and Belgian markets.
• Previous experience in a marketing role, whether within an agency or an in-house team.
• Proven ability to manage and organically grow social media accounts.
• Expertise in at least one marketing discipline, combined with the versatility to work across multiple channels.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance marketing reports.
• Background in e-commerce or the consumer electronics industry.
• Fluency in both English and Dutch.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for environmental sustainability.

Preferred qualifications

• Proficiency in the French language.
