The Junior Graphic Designer will report to the Chief of Staff and be part of a tight-knit group with self-starting, creative, and results-oriented employees that enjoy working hard and loving what they do. Priorities include utilizing graphic design software to develop unique fonts, color schemes, shapes, and other design elements that help enhance the company’s divisions and brands through promotional graphic communications, advertisements, and other communication materials. They will be responsible for developing and executing visual concepts and working closely with our Project Managers and Coordinators to oversee a project to completion. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop the promotional graphics for retail communications sent directly to consumers

Develop illustrations, create images, logos, and layouts by hand or by using design software 

Conceptualize visuals based on requirements  

Create designs for wide range of mediums 

Prepare drafts, present ideas, amend designs based on an agreed brief and feedback 

Clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices 

Meet tight deadlines while staying within budget 

Work independently and collaborate professionally with a team 

Seek continuous education to keep skills and industry knowledge current 

Maintain strong communication with Director of Marketing while providing consistent feedback on product quality and efficiency of all processes 

Assist in other duties as assigned to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success 

COMPENSATION

$20-$24/hr (dependent on experience)

WORKING CONDITIONS

Heavy computer usage.

Sit for a long period of time.

Must have vision with or without lenses adequate to read reports and computer screen.

High manual dexterity.

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience in marketing, marketing CRM management, or a related field.

Strong experience using a marketing CRM platform for campaign execution, reporting, and audience segmentation.

Strong copywriting skills for SMS and email marketing campaigns.

Ability to analyze campaign data and adjust strategies for performance optimization.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations and compliance is preferred.

Experience with event planning and execution is a plus.

Proficiency in Adobe Suite.

Proficiency in using a project management system (such as Asana, Monday.com, or Trello) to track marketing tasks and deliverables.

Must be 21+
