We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team and help create impactful visual solutions across digital and print media. Hootsuite is a global leader in social media management, and in this role, you will work from our Vancouver office and remotely to support our design team while developing your craft under the guidance of senior professionals.

Responsibilities

Develop concepts and final designs for social media, email, web, paid digital advertising, and print projects.
Manage the full design lifecycle from initial brainstorming through to final production.
Update and refine existing creative assets based on feedback from senior team members.
Present your design concepts to management and senior staff.
Utilize project management tools like Wrike to balance multiple deadlines effectively.
Keep pace with emerging design trends and identify new opportunities for creative innovation.

Must-haves

An entry-level portfolio demonstrating your work across web, mobile, social media, and print.
A certificate or completed coursework in UX/UI design.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Experience creating responsive, mobile-friendly designs.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, CMS platforms, and Sketch.
Familiarity with Unbounce for page design and troubleshooting.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

A solid understanding of marketing principles and how they influence creative strategy.
Analytical skills related to tracking brand and content performance metrics.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $53,100 to $74,300 CAD.
