Picture a team that treats every line of code as the start of a bigger story. At Z1 Tech, a Great Place to Work-Certified company, we build the advertising technology that powers tomorrow’s digital experiences. From real-time video platforms to intelligent content systems, our products reach millions of users every day, and we are looking for someone who wants to shape how those stories unfold on screen.
The opportunity
We are adding a Junior Frontend Developer to our on-site programming team in India. In this full-time role you will help craft the interfaces that bring our ad-serving products to life, working side-by-side with designers, backend engineers, and client teams. Your work will directly influence how publishers, advertisers, and audiences interact with the next generation of digital media tools.
A day in the life
- You start the morning reviewing the latest pull requests, then sit with the product team to map out a new dashboard feature that will let clients track campaign performance in real time.
- After lunch you refine responsive layouts so every creative loads cleanly across devices, and you tune JavaScript routines that keep latency low when thousands of events stream in at once.
- Before you wrap up, you pair with a teammate to debug a cross-browser styling issue, document the fix, and add a small performance test so the improvement stays solid as the codebase grows.
Who you are
You bring three to four years of hands-on frontend experience and feel confident writing clean, testable code in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript. You understand how browsers render pages, how to work around cross-browser quirks, and how asynchronous calls and AJAX keep interfaces responsive. Familiarity with React or Express is a plus, and you value responsive design as a default rather than an afterthought. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is helpful but not required; what matters most is your curiosity, clear communication, and drive to keep learning.
Why you'll love it here
You will join a diverse, 150-person team that began with five founders and still feels like day one. Our offices in Gurugram sit alongside our New York headquarters, giving you the chance to collaborate across continents on products used by leading publishers and brands. We foster an inclusive workplace where varied backgrounds, identities, and perspectives are welcomed and celebrated, and where continuous improvement is part of everyday work rather than a slogan.
