The role

We are looking for a Junior Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an early-career position designed for someone with 0 to 2 years of experience who is eager to grow their skills while working on high-impact, scalable systems. As a remote-first company, we welcome applicants from anywhere, though you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented, global team of engineers. Whether you are interested in backend architecture, frontend user experience, or cloud services, you will play a vital role in maintaining the systems that power our video library and mobile interfaces.

Core responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions across the full stack, focusing on both backend systems and modern frontend interfaces using React.
• Execute comprehensive testing strategies, including functional, load, stress, and security testing, to ensure our applications remain reliable for millions of users.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks to streamline our quality assurance processes and empower the broader development team.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in computer science and a passion for building secure, scalable software. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with AWS and cloud-based architecture.
• A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
• Experience with software engineering best practices such as automated testing, debugging, and componentization.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to transparency.
• A security-oriented mindset and a desire to solve complex customer problems.
