Helsing is a defense AI company dedicated to protecting democracies through technological leadership and ethical innovation. We are seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis to manage our US infrastructure and support our mission-driven work.
Responsibilities
- Configure and manage endpoints, including servers, laptops, and workstations.
- Provide dedicated IT support for an office of 10 to 25 employees.
- Maintain and set up on-premise Linux environments.
- Oversee the configuration and operation of network and VPN infrastructure.
- Collaborate with our broader IT team to optimize corporate and development environments using Microsoft 365, Azure, and various SaaS tools.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of experience in information security and IT infrastructure, preferably within the defense sector.
- Proven background in SysAdmin or IT engineering roles, specifically with Linux servers, macOS, AWS Cloud, and Kubernetes.
- Practical experience managing modern network infrastructure and security tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A current security clearance, ideally at the Top Secret level.
- Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves
- Proficiency in scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Experience with SIEM stacks and the Microsoft M365 ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Mobile Device Management solutions like Jamf, Intune, or JumpCloud.
- Expertise in information security regulations, particularly ITAR and CMMC.
