Internship/Fellowship at Onsights

At Onsights, we are transforming the way brick-and-mortar retailers and mall operators understand their spaces. By building highly accurate location-intelligence solutions, we help our clients decode visitor behavior in a massive 17 trillion dollar market. Our team is backed by prominent investors like Gula Tech Ventures and Scout Ventures, and we have spent the last five years refining our patented AI technology. We are a diverse, distributed group of about 25 people spread across four countries and six states, and we are currently looking for SkillBridge candidates to join us for a remote internship or fellowship.

What you'll be doing

• You will embed directly into our engineering or data science teams to support our core lines of business through hands-on daily operations.
• You will collaborate with experts in computer vision, edge-computing, and distributed systems to develop cutting-edge retail analytics.
• You will work with us to create and execute an individualized transition plan that helps you build new technical skills while applying your existing expertise.

What you'll bring

We are looking for students or transitioning service members who have a background in computer science, software development, or data engineering. You should be comfortable working in English and possess the following qualifications:

• Experience with key programming languages and frameworks such as Python, React, SQL, TypeScript, or C#/.NET technologies.
• A solid understanding of DevSecOps workflows and modern software development processes.
• A humble, curious mindset with a strong drive to learn and the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to a variety of audiences.
• A creative approach to problem-solving that favors simple, effective solutions over unnecessary complexity.
