Key outcomes

• Develop detailed furniture and interior design plans using advanced 3-D design software.
• Prepare workstation typicals, block plans, furniture space plans, specifications, and installation documentation.
• Research product options and recommend finish schemes that align with project goals and client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure design intent is maintained through the installation phase.
• Travel within Southern California to visit customer locations and jobsites as needed to support project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
• At least two years of professional experience as an Interior Designer or in a comparable role.
• Minimum of one year of hands-on experience with Smart Tools design software for the Steelcase Vertical Intelligent Architecture (V.I.A.) wall system.
• Proficiency in English for all written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work on-site at either our Santa Fe Springs, CA or Newport Beach, CA location, with the final assignment based on candidate preference, proximity, and business needs.
• Willingness to commute regularly to customer sites and jobsites throughout Southern California.
