At Loopy Cases, we design and sell phone accessories that combine thoughtful engineering with everyday practicality. What started as a small family business in Griffith, Indiana has grown into a thriving e-commerce brand that still puts exceptional products and customer care at the center of everything we do.
What is this role?
We are hiring a Lead Industrial Designer to join us on a full-time basis. The position is open to candidates at the lead experience level and can be performed entirely remote from anywhere.
What will you do?
- Guide product ideas from first sketch through final prototype, balancing looks, comfort, and how easily each design can be manufactured.
- Build detailed 3D CAD models and physical prototypes that clearly communicate concepts and confirm they will work in real-world use.
- Partner with our quality, marketing, and manufacturing teams so every design meets both customer expectations and production realities.
What makes you a great fit?
You hold a bachelor’s degree in industrial design, product design, or a related field and bring at least five years of hands-on experience creating consumer products that use injection molding. You are fluent in English and skilled with Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and KeyShot. You combine strong sketching and rendering abilities with a solid understanding of materials, manufacturing methods, and engineering principles. Clear communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach help you turn ideas into products that feel intuitive and reflect our brand values.
What's in it for you?
The role offers a starting salary of $100,000 per year plus performance bonus, with the exact figure open to discussion based on your background. Additional benefits include a 401k plan with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 4 percent of salary, 17 days of paid time off, optional health, dental, and vision coverage, a bicycle benefit covering 50 percent of a new bike and helmet, and a wellness benefit covering 50 percent of sports and fitness equipment.
