Are you ready to shape the future of urban mobility and help more people discover the freedom that comes with every ride? At Aventon we design electric bicycles that fit real lives, and we are looking for an Industrial Designer who shares our passion for thoughtful, people-centered products.
What you bring
We need a mid-level Industrial Designer to join us full time in a hybrid capacity. You will work side-by-side with our product development team, turning early ideas into production-ready electric bicycles while shaping the visual language of the Aventon brand. Your three core responsibilities will be collaborating on new e-bike concepts that meet rider needs, guiding the creation of distinctive brand icons, and producing sketches, renderings, and 3D models that clearly communicate design intent. This role is based in the United States.
Requirements
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field and bring at least three years of hands-on experience designing consumer products. You are fluent in Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, and KeyShot, and you adapt quickly to emerging tools such as ChatGPT and Midjourney. A solid grasp of the full design process-from initial sketches through manufacturing-is essential, as is direct experience with bicycle design and production. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills round out your profile, along with genuine enthusiasm for cycling and the electric-bike space. The ideal teammate is data-driven, nimble in the face of ambiguity, resilient when challenges arise, solutions-oriented, and deeply engaged with our mission.
What we offer
We support a hybrid work arrangement that balances focused individual work with meaningful in-person collaboration.
