Head of Product Design & Development at Lovepop

What you bring

As our Head of Product Design and Development, you will report directly to our Co-Founder and CEO. This full-time executive role is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. You will oversee our entire product development lifecycle, managing a team of over 50 designers across the U.S. and Vietnam while handling a portfolio of more than 1,000 active products. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Designing inspiring product lines that resonate with customers and drive repeat revenue through a mix of illustration, 3D engineering, and heartfelt sentiments.
• Developing a cohesive design strategy that empowers our team to innovate quickly while maintaining clear objectives for pricing, merchandising, and creative reach.
• Leading customer-obsessed development by utilizing insights and frameworks to ensure our products consistently deliver on their intended purpose.

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with over 10 years of design experience, specifically in developing creative product lines and managing high-profile partnerships or licensing agreements. You should possess at least 5 years of leadership experience, demonstrating an ability to recruit, grow, and retain top-tier talent while fostering a culture of high performance. Strong financial acumen is essential, as you will manage budgets and partner with our finance teams to ensure the success of our product development P&L. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who values organizational health, prioritizes the company team above all else, and embodies our core values of engineering, hunger, magic, and connection.
