Head of Product Design & Development at Lovepop

We are looking for an exceptional leader to join our executive team and help us become the premier online destination for cards.

What you bring

As our Head of Product Design and Development, you will serve as an integral member of our executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. You will oversee our entire product development lifecycle, which includes managing over 1,000 active products and a global team of more than 50 designers across the United States and Vietnam. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates located anywhere in the United States. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Designing inspiring and aesthetic product lines that resonate with our customers through a blend of illustration, 3D engineering, and heartfelt sentiments.
• Developing a cohesive strategy that empowers our team to create compelling products while managing pricing, merchandising, and creative expansion.
• Leading customer-obsessed development by gathering insights, maintaining a clear product taxonomy, and ensuring our designs directly impact customer lifetime value.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a seasoned executive with over 10 years of experience in design and product development, including a proven track record of managing creative teams and driving product line expansion. You should possess at least 5 years of leadership experience, demonstrating an ability to recruit, mentor, and align high-performing teams toward clear outcomes. Strong financial acumen is essential, as you will be responsible for managing budgets and partnering with our finance team to ensure accurate reporting.
