Head of Marketing at Ethena

At Ethena Labs, we are tackling one of the most significant challenges in the digital asset space by building a crypto-native synthetic dollar, known as USDe, and an Internet Bond called sUSDe. Our mission is to create a financial system that operates independently of traditional banking infrastructure. We are backed by major exchanges and trading entities, and our team brings together deep expertise from firms like Wintermute, BITMEX, Paradigm, and Chainlink. The role

We are seeking a Head of Marketing to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere. You will be responsible for defining and executing our marketing strategy to grow our brand, foster community engagement, and drive product adoption. You will work closely with our leadership, engineering, and business development teams to ensure our marketing efforts align with our ambitious business goals.

Core responsibilities

• Take full ownership of our marketing initiatives by developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy that supports our long-term vision and business objectives.
• Elevate our product ecosystem across all platforms, including managing content pipelines, writing blog posts, and coordinating launch announcements.
• Build and maintain an industry-leading community by collaborating with partners, hosting events, and managing relationships with PR teams, journalists, and key opinion leaders.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Extensive experience in marketing within the tech or finance sectors, with a proven track record in crypto, web3, or digital assets.
• A deep understanding of current crypto industry trends and a strong presence within crypto communities, particularly on platforms like X.
• The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for a wide range of audiences.
• Proficiency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using graphic design tools such as Figma to support the creation of marketing materials.
