We are currently searching for a Head of Growth Marketing to join our team and lead the strategy for Marco Polo Circles. This new offering helps people build genuine friendships by matching them based on their life stages and interests. We are a profitable, purpose-driven company, and this is a unique chance for you to own the growth trajectory of a product that is changing how people connect. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can balance high-level strategy with day-to-day execution, specifically someone who views AI as a fundamental shift in marketing excellence.
What you'll be doing
- Own the full growth funnel: You will oversee everything from paid and organic acquisition to activation, retention, referrals, and upgrades for Circles. You will develop the market strategy and lead your team to execute it effectively.
- Lead paid marketing performance: You will set the strategic direction for paid acquisition across mobile and social channels. You will provide the expertise needed to challenge creative decisions, set clear targets for ROAS and payback, and build a high-performing team.
- Drive AI-powered growth: You will identify and scale the use of AI tools across our creative, acquisition, and lifecycle efforts. Your goal is to bring new capabilities to the team and raise our collective fluency in these technologies.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in growth or performance marketing, including 4 years in a leadership role at a consumer-focused company.
- Deep expertise in paid user acquisition for mobile and social platforms, with a strong grasp of measurement and attribution.
- A genuine, active obsession with AI in marketing and a proven track record of using it to transform how your team operates.
- Strong analytical abilities, with the comfort to make data-driven decisions based on evolving hypotheses.
- Experience marketing subscription products, including a solid understanding of LTV and sustainable growth economics.
- A history of driving results with lean resources and a commitment to our purpose of helping people feel close.
- Fluency in English.
