What you bring

As our Head of Design, you will serve as a vital member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer. This is a full-time, on-site executive role where you will define the visual and functional identity of our company. You will be responsible for leading our design strategy across branding, UX, and research to ensure our diagnostic products remain a competitive differentiator in the market.

• Build and mentor a world-class, multidisciplinary design organization that excels in brand, creative, and UX design.
• Define a company-wide design vision that aligns with our business objectives and translates complex molecular data into clear, user-centered experiences.
• Collaborate closely with our product and marketing teams to establish design standards and workflows that scale with our rapid growth.

Requirements

We are looking for a visionary leader with at least 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in a design leadership capacity. You should have a proven track record of building teams at the Director or Senior Director level. While expertise across multiple design disciplines is ideal, you must possess strong proficiency in UX or information design. We value candidates who have worked in healthcare, life sciences, or deep-tech environments, as the ability to communicate complex information effectively is essential. You should be a strong storyteller with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of advocating for design at the executive level and translating high-level strategy into actionable initiatives.

What we offer

We provide a total compensation package of $426,000 per year, which includes a base salary range of $230,000 to $255,000. In addition to competitive pay and equity, we support your well-being and future through a comprehensive benefits package:
