We are looking for a visionary Head of Brand Marketing to join our team at Topicals. In this executive role, you will lead our social, influencer, community, and product marketing functions while collaborating directly with our CEO and leadership team to drive impact in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a brand marketing calendar featuring innovative, scrappy ideas that align with our long-term strategy and brand equity goals.
- Lead project management and reporting for all brand initiatives.
- Oversee the creation of pitch and marketing decks to support our sales team in hitting key performance indicators.
- Represent our brand in strategic external meetings and manage key partnerships.
- Take full ownership of brand marketing budget tracking.
- Manage quarterly awareness reporting by collaborating with our finance, strategy, and social insights partners.
- Own the full go-to-market process for all brand marketing initiatives.
- Build and maintain a network of creative partners to support our events, content production, and community-building efforts.
- Develop processes to socialize project learnings across the company, ensuring executive visibility and a commitment to data-driven improvement.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of marketing experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role focused on brand management.
- 5+ years of experience working with major retailers like Sephora and Ulta.
- Proven ability to track and analyze the ROI of marketing investments.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to translate market trends and consumer insights into actionable decisions.
- Exceptional leadership abilities and a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for cross-functional collaboration and senior-level presentations.
- Fluency in English.
