The opportunity

We are looking for a Head of Applied Artificial Intelligence to join our team in an executive capacity. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the execution and delivery of AI projects that form the core of our product roadmap. You will work directly with our leadership team to define project scopes and ensure that our technical vision translates into high-impact, customer-facing functionality. This position is perfect for a highly technical leader who thrives on building scalable systems and wants to shape the future of how enterprise companies engage with their customers.

A day in the life

• You will lead the end-to-end delivery of AI projects, working alongside cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions are robust, performant, and aligned with our product goals.
• You will design and build scalable AI systems within the AWS environment, focusing on the practical application of machine learning models and predictive analytics.
• You will act as a subject matter expert, mentoring our engineering team and translating complex AI concepts into clear strategies for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Who you are

You are a seasoned leader with over 10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 to 5 years in an AI or machine learning leadership role. You have a proven history of taking customer-facing AI products from concept to production. You are fluent in English and possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline.
• Deep expertise in NLP, generative AI, and large language models.
• Hands-on experience setting up and managing AI systems within AWS environments.
• A proactive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to champion new ideas and take smart risks.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for continuous process improvement.
