Head of AI Solutions & Engineering at Teach For All

What is this role?

We are seeking a Head of AI Solutions and Engineering to join us as a senior-level contractor. This is a remote position available to candidates anywhere in the world. In this role, you will lead our efforts to identify, build, and implement AI-forward technology products that support our global network partners and improve our internal organizational efficiency.

What will you do?

• Develop and execute a strategic technology roadmap that identifies and delivers AI-powered solutions to meet the diverse needs of our global network partners and internal teams.
• Lead and mentor a talented team, including two solutions engineers and a UI/UX specialist, to ensure the successful delivery of ambitious projects.
• Cultivate a vibrant community of technology enthusiasts across our network, including staff, fellows, and alumni, to share best practices and encourage collaborative innovation.

What makes you a great fit?

You are a seasoned professional with at least 7 years of experience in designing and delivering high-impact AI solutions. You are passionate about the intersection of AI, technology, and education. To succeed in this role, you should bring the following skills and qualities:

• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript, along with extensive experience using AI libraries and frameworks.
• Deep expertise in REST API integrations, particularly with Generative AI tools.
• Proven ability to manage codebases using Git and experience working with cloud infrastructure, specifically Google Cloud.
• Excellent business analysis skills, with the ability to translate stakeholder needs into accessible, inclusive, and sustainable technical solutions.
• A collaborative mindset with a history of driving complex technology projects from initial concept to final delivery.
• Fluency in English, as you will be communicating and coordinating across global time zones.
