Are you a visionary leader ready to shape the future of AI-driven consulting? We seek a dynamic and experienced professional to build and lead our AI consulting practice. As Head of AI, you will be responsible for defining AI service offerings, engaging with clients, and positioning Janea Systems as an AI thought leader. You will drive business development, partnerships, and team growth to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions to our clients. 

Ideal Candidate Profile 

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in AI/ML, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience developing and delivering AI solutions, including a deep technical understanding of machine learning algorithms, data modeling, ML models development and deployment, and software engineering principles
• Proven ability to build and scale AI consulting businesses or service offerings.
• Strong business acumen with experience in client engagement, pre-sales, and solution architecture.
• Exceptional communication skills with a strong executive presence and experience in public speaking.
• Experience building and managing partnerships with AI vendors, universities, and industry leaders. 

Key Responsibilities 

Build and Lead 

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow the AI practice, defining service offerings, target markets, and resource needs. 

• Lead a team of engineers and data scientists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure professional growth and successful project delivery. 

Drive Business Development & Thought Leadership 

• Engage with clients and sales teams to qualify AI-related opportunities. Participate actively in pre-sales calls to define initial scope, estimate complexity, determine resource needs, and set client expectations.
• Represent Janea Systems at industry conferences, events, and executive panels. Publish thought leadership content (blogs, whitepapers, case studies) to establish industry credibility. 

Develop AI Governance & Ecosystem 

• Define and oversee AI governance structures, ensuring ethical and responsible AI implementation.
• Build strategic partnerships with AI technology providers, industry bodies, and academia.
