What is this role?
We are hiring a Senior Hardware Design Engineer for a full-time position based in the United Kingdom. This is an on-site role that requires a seasoned professional capable of managing the entire lifecycle of a product, from initial design briefs to the final testing of PCB assemblies ready for mass production.
What will you do?
- Develop comprehensive hardware designs, which include creating detailed block diagrams, schematics, and design specifications.
- Lead hardware design meetings and technical reviews to ensure our projects stay on track and meet our quality standards.
- Validate and test new designs thoroughly before they move into mass production, while also providing ongoing support to resolve any issues reported by our manufacturing partners or customers.

- You hold a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field and have at least 5 years of professional experience in electronics design.
- You possess deep knowledge of both analogue and digital electronics, including high-speed signaling, signal integrity, and power supply design.
- You are proficient with EDA tools, such as Cadence, and have practical experience with hands-on tasks like soldering, prototyping, and operating electronic test equipment.
- You have a solid grasp of Design for Test principles and a basic understanding of software development.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for this role.
- Experience with FPGA or ASIC design and knowledge of digital video systems are considered a plus.
