What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Growth Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Tokyo, where you will play a pivotal part in expanding our user base and increasing the number of paid subscribers in the Japanese market. You will work on a product that impacts millions, driving significant business results while collaborating with both local and global teams.
What will you do?
- Take ownership of end-to-end growth initiatives by utilizing on-platform tools like in-app messaging, email, and push notifications, alongside off-platform media channels to boost acquisition and retention.
- Lead the full lifecycle of growth campaigns, from initial strategy and development to execution and post-campaign analysis, ensuring every effort is optimized for the Japanese market.
- Collaborate across various departments, including Product, Analytics, and Content, to identify new testing opportunities and scale successful initiatives across multiple regions.
What makes you a great fit?
You are a seasoned professional with at least 3+ years of experience in growth marketing or digital consumer products. You have a deep understanding of the Japanese market, including local consumer behaviors and media trends. To succeed here, you should possess the following qualities and skills:
- Fluency in both Japanese and English, allowing you to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong technical proficiency in CRM campaign execution and data analysis, with the ability to use tools like Tableau and BigQuery to drive performance.
- A data-driven mindset with practical experience in A/B testing and performance monitoring.
- A proactive, goal-oriented approach that allows you to thrive in ambiguous environments and take full ownership of your projects.
