We are seeking a Global Product Manager to join our Molecular Biology team and help drive the success of our core service offerings. As part of GenScript Biotech Corporation, a global leader in biotechnology since 2002, you will contribute to our mission of making humans and nature healthier through our advanced gene synthesis and life science solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full product lifecycle, including P&L management, strategic roadmapping, pricing reviews, and process improvements.
- Guide new and upgraded services from the initial planning stages through to a successful market launch.
- Perform market research and gather customer feedback to identify emerging trends and unmet needs.
- Analyze the competitive landscape to provide actionable insights that support sustainable business growth.
- Partner with our R&D and production teams to refine existing services and develop innovative new products.
- Work alongside the marketing department to create go-to-market strategies and regional promotional initiatives.
- Act as a key resource for our commercial team by providing ongoing support for our service offerings.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor of Science degree in life sciences or a related field.
- Between 3 and 7 years of professional experience in product management, marketing, project management, or sales within the life sciences or healthcare sectors.
- Strong understanding of the molecular biology service market, specifically regarding gene synthesis and plasmid DNA preparation.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough market research and build compelling business cases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A demonstrated track record of successfully leading and executing complex projects.
- The ability to work effectively across different functional teams.
Nice-to-haves
- An advanced degree, such as a Master of Science or a PhD in life sciences.
- Prior experience working within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment.
