Since our founding in 2005 and our transition to a publicly listed company in 2016, we have grown our reach across the Asia Pacific, North America, and Europe. Our ecosystem now includes our core publishing brands, the creative agency Hypemaker, and our retail platform, HBX. We are currently looking for a Global Marketing Manager to join our team in Hong Kong. This is a full-time, hybrid position for a strategic leader who is passionate about digital growth and audience engagement.
Key outcomes
- Drive user acquisition and growth across our digital media platforms through effective performance marketing initiatives.
- Manage our digital presence by implementing current best practices and innovative strategies.
- Expand our audience reach by developing and executing comprehensive newsletter strategies.
- Collaborate with our sales department to monetize newsletter offerings and identify new business growth opportunities.
- Create and implement tactical plans, partnerships, and tools designed to meet our core business objectives.
- Coordinate with editorial teams to ensure our marketing priorities align with company-wide standards.
- Research and identify emerging subcultures and communities to expand our brand influence.
- Analyze campaign performance data to refine our approach and ensure maximum effectiveness.
- Maintain close alignment with our headquarters to ensure all marketing efforts reflect our editorial voice.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in business development and newsletter publishing.
- Strong proficiency in using Google Analytics and various newsletter management tools.
- Fundamental skills in Photoshop.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- A proven track record of creating and executing successful marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
- A high level of creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to translate website data into actionable change.
- The flexibility to work across different time zones, including nights and weekends when necessary.
- Legal eligibility to work in Hong Kong.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience working with CRM systems.
- A deep understanding of current trends in fashion, culture, and branding.
