Are you ready to build something from the ground up? We are looking for a visionary Geophysical Services Lead to spearhead the development of our brand-new geophysical department. Universal Engineering Sciences has nearly 60 years of expertise in geotechnical engineering and environmental consulting, and we are currently looking for a leader to drive technical excellence and market expansion within our growing organization of over 3,800 professionals.
Role at a glance
This is a full-time, lead-level position based on-site within the United States. You will be responsible for establishing our geophysical division, setting best practices, and growing our presence in the energy, environmental, and infrastructure sectors.
Your impact
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to launch and scale our geophysical department.
- Drive business growth by securing new projects and fostering strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Provide technical leadership by overseeing complex geophysical surveys, data interpretation, and the deployment of advanced software and equipment.
What you'll need
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in geophysical investigations, specifically with a focus on client management and business development.
- Deep expertise in seismic, gravity, magnetic, electrical, and electromagnetic survey methods.
- A proven track record of managing projects, securing contracts, and leading high-performing technical teams.
- Proficiency with specialized geophysical software and data processing tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with a willingness to travel for field projects and industry events.
- Fluency in English.
