Clipwire Games is a leading Canadian developer based in Toronto, known for creating massive hits like Bingo Story. With over a decade of success, we are looking for a senior Game Economy Designer to join our team on-site in Canada to help shape the future of our mobile titles through data-driven insights and expert balancing.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside designers to refine the game economy, define virtual products, and balance new features.
- Use player data and feedback to continuously optimize our products and fine-tune economic systems.
- Track game health via dashboards and collaborate with data scientists to ensure your analytical needs are supported.
- Oversee pricing strategies and key price points to improve our monetization approach.
- Build detailed data models, flowcharts, and prototypes to support game design.
- Pitch creative updates that improve player retention, engagement, and monetization.
- Stay connected to our community by gathering insights through regular playtesting.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of professional experience specifically in mobile game economy design.
- A proven track record of balancing game economies, features, and pricing.
- Deep knowledge of user behavior, game balance, and economy design principles.
- Strong data analysis capabilities and the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
- Extensive familiarity with free-to-play mechanics in the casual, puzzle, or casino mobile genres.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to solve complex problems independently.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, agile, and highly collaborative environment.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience working on social casino games.
- Practical experience using the Unity engine.
