At SAIT, our dynamic marketing team brings together campaign creators, content strategists, data analysts, recruiters, and web specialists to deliver cohesive, impactful experiences across every touchpoint. As a global leader in applied education with over a century of history, we are looking for innovative, bold, and collaborative individuals to help us prepare the next generation of industry leaders.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our team for a 16-month temporary contract covering a parental leave. This is an on-site position based in Canada. You will play a critical role in maintaining, evolving, and optimizing our recruitment-focused web properties while translating marketing and UX designs into scalable, high-performing digital experiences.
What will you do?
- Transform design mockups into pixel-perfect, fully integrated web pages that function seamlessly across all browsers and devices.
- Develop and optimize high-performance, scalable websites using TypeScript, CSS, C#, and other modern web technologies.
- Collaborate closely with designers, UX specialists, and content creators to ensure that all web projects are executed to a high standard and meet our institutional needs.
What makes you a great fit?
We are looking for a self-starter who takes ownership of their work and delivers clean, efficient code. You should have at least 5 years of agency experience and a strong foundation in full-stack architecture. You will be a great fit if you possess the following:
- Extensive experience turning Figma or Adobe XD designs into responsive, functional websites.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, CSS, C#, and working within cloud environments like Azure or AWS.
- Experience with enterprise-grade CMS platforms, specifically Cascade Server.
- A solid understanding of SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and version control using Git.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
What's in it for you?
The salary range for this position is 67,000 - 89,000 CAD. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer the following benefits:
- 4 weeks of paid vacation per year.
- 14 flex days per year.
- The opportunity to work with a recognized top employer in Alberta.
