What you bring

As a contractor in this senior role, you will play a vital part in our New York studio, where we strive to be a powerhouse for product design and immersive technology. You will be expected to thrive in a hybrid environment, with the option to work from our Brooklyn office or remotely if you are based in the EST time zone. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating closely with developers, project managers, and fellow designers to define, build, and iterate on solutions for our diverse range of clients.
• Tackling complex business problems by leveraging your full range of design skills to push the boundaries of what is possible across mobile, web, and emerging platforms like AR, VR, and IoT.
• Communicating challenges and opportunities clearly while working in an iterative fashion to ensure we deliver remarkable products on time and on budget.

Requirements

We are looking for a self-starter with at least five years of cross-platform design experience, including work on web, Android, and iOS. You should possess a strong background in end-to-end product design with core strengths in visual design, UI, brand, iconography, and art direction. Proficiency in design tools and prototyping software such as InVision and Framer is essential. Beyond your technical hard skills, we value candidates who can think strategically, handle ambiguity with grace, and communicate complex ideas effectively.
