We are currently looking for a seasoned professional to join this innovative group and help drive growth across our diverse agency portfolio.

What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Director to join us on a freelance and part-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Canada, designed to help us manage the fluctuating volume of incoming requests and proposals. You will play a vital role in supporting our business objectives by working closely with our existing Business Development and Marketing teams to maintain our high standards of quality and strategic excellence.

What will you do?

  • Provide strategic leadership for our network-wide RFPs and proposals, ensuring every stage of the process is handled with precision and high-level insight.
  • Manage and maintain our development pipeline, which includes updating our CRM database and qualifying inbound leads to ensure we are focusing on the right prospects.
  • Collaborate with our functional teams to draft compelling sales pitches, presentations, and essential reference materials while establishing best practices for our business development assets.

To be successful in this position, you should have a deep understanding of the creative industry and a strong background in strategy or production. We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • You bring 8 or more years of experience in business development and have a proven history of managing the full RFP lifecycle.
  • You possess excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • You are highly proficient in Google Suite and Salesforce.
  • You are a strategic thinker who can work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • You are fluent in English.
