We are Zuma, a Los Angeles-based startup that has raised more than 17 million dollars from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, King River, and Range Ventures. Our AI-driven leasing agent, Kelsey, helps property managers across the country increase conversions and deliver faster support by combining artificial intelligence with human operations teams. We are now looking for a Founding Product Designer to shape the look, feel, and standards of our entire product experience from day one.
Responsibilities
- Define and roll out the design framework that will guide every interface and interaction across our platform.
- Own the full design process for new features, moving from initial concepts and wireframes through interactive prototypes to polished, high-fidelity designs.
- Partner closely with product management and engineering to keep product strategy and design direction aligned while we grow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- At least five years of product-design experience, supported by a portfolio that shows strong work on technology interfaces.
- Expert-level skill with Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and other modern prototyping tools.
- Experience designing for web, mobile, and tablet platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities suited to a fast-moving startup environment.
