About the Role
We are looking for a Founding Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work directly with our founders to design and build our core infrastructure. You will be responsible for creating scalable systems that integrate advanced AI capabilities and real-time processing to provide a seamless experience for our users. This is a hybrid position that offers a unique opportunity to shape our technical direction from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement our platform, including the development of public APIs and comprehensive documentation.
- Manage and scale our Next.js serverless infrastructure while ensuring high performance.
- Build secure data systems that prioritize privacy and robust governance.
Requirements
We are looking for a Lead-level engineer who brings the following qualifications to our team:
- At least 7 years of experience in building production web applications and scalable data systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python backend development and Next.js serverless architecture.
- Deep understanding of data infrastructure, including experience with data connectors like Snowflake, Databricks, and Redshift.
- Proven ability to implement enterprise integrations, such as Salesforce and Stripe.
- Experience with real-time systems and WebSocket implementations.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, alongside containerization practices.
- A solid grasp of API design, versioning, and improving the developer experience.

This position is based in the United States.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $180,000, which is adjusted based on your experience and equity preferences. In addition to a founding team equity grant, we provide the following benefits:
