As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Founding Account Executive to join our mission-driven team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market strategy and building the systems that make our growth repeatable and impactful.
What you'll be doing
- Lead high-value partnerships: You will own the entire sales cycle, from initial discovery and demonstrations to complex negotiations and final contracting for our most important deals.
- Build and refine our sales engine: You will manage our pipeline using Salesforce, set weekly performance cadences, and conduct rapid market experiments to codify effective playbooks for our core segments.
- Drive cross-functional strategy: You will work closely with our product and marketing teams to translate field insights into actionable roadmap items, ensuring our AI-driven solutions meet the needs of institutional buyers in higher education and workforce development.
What you'll bring
We are looking for an entrepreneurial builder who thrives in ambiguous environments and is eager to turn data into action. You should have a strong background in Business Development and a passion for social impact. Specifically, you will bring:
- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in sales, partnerships, or business development, ideally within the tech or workforce innovation sectors.
- Proven success in a founding or zero-to-one sales role, with the ability to experiment across markets to find traction.
- Deep data analysis skills and commercial rigor, allowing you to discuss pipeline math, pricing, and win rates with confidence.
- Technical fluency that enables you to demo AI products and discuss integrations with technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a commitment to our mission of improving career mobility.
What you'll get
This is a full-time, remote position with a base salary range of $95,000 to $105,000. In addition to your base pay, you will be eligible for performance-based variable compensation, bringing your total on-target earnings to $145,000.
