At Chef Robotics, our mission is to accelerate the arrival of intelligent machines in the physical world. While AI has made incredible strides in the digital space, we believe its most significant impact will be in industries like food, manufacturing, and transportation, which represent the vast majority of global GDP. We are starting with the food industry, with a bold goal to place an intelligent robot in every commercial kitchen across the globe. We have already secured multiple multi-year contracts with major food companies and are backed by prominent investors like Kleiner Perkins, Construct, Bloomberg BETA, and Promus Ventures. Our team is composed of talented engineers and leaders from industry-defining companies such as Cruise, Google, Tesla, and Amazon Robotics. As we move out of stealth mode and prepare for our first public release, we are looking for a creative leader to help us define our brand as the dominant force in robotics and Embodied AI.
What is this role?
We are searching for our first Marketing Manager to join us as a full-time, senior-level team member. This is an on-site position based at our headquarters in San Francisco. As our inaugural marketing hire, you will work directly with our CEO to build our brand from the ground up. While this is an individual contributor role, it is a generalist position that requires you to wear many hats and be ready to tackle any challenge necessary to help us succeed. As we grow, there will be significant opportunities for you to expand your scope and influence within the company.
What will you do?
- Lead our public release strategy and establish Chef Robotics as the market leader in food manipulation and Embodied AI.
- Generate high-impact brand awareness among key audiences, including venture capitalists, top-tier engineering talent, and potential customers.
- Manage end-to-end marketing operations, including content creation, trade show execution, PR outreach, and the development of sales enablement materials to support our revenue goals.
What makes you a great fit?
You are a resilient and entrepreneurial professional with at least 5 years of product marketing experience within a Robotics, RaaS, SaaS, or B2B environment. You have a proven track record of successfully launching products and thrive in fast-paced, evolving startup settings. Your toolkit includes proficiency in Webflow for web management and Figma for design wireframing. You possess strong skills in copywriting, basic videography, and photography, and you are comfortable using marketing automation tools to drive your strategy. Most importantly, you are an empathetic communicator who can connect with diverse personas and handle the challenges of PR and outreach with grit. While not required, experience in industrial robotics or supply chain management is a plus.
