We are currently seeking an Events Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team and help us continue our path of high impact. Please note that this is a hybrid position, and candidates must be local to Chicago to work from our downtown office.
Key outcomes
- Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies, including both virtual webinars and in-person gatherings, while managing the full lifecycle from planning to post-event evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design engaging booth experiences, coordinate sponsorships, and manage speaking opportunities.
- Oversee vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and execution, to ensure all event logistics are handled effectively.
- Partner with our design and content teams to produce high-quality event materials, including invitations and campaigns, while managing onsite swag production.
- Utilize a data-driven approach to ensure events serve as effective channels for lead generation, relationship building, and gathering market insights.
- Coordinate internal team events and offsites to foster our company culture.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in event production, ideally within a fast-paced B2B startup environment.
- Proven ability to manage B2B marketing programs, including webinars and content syndication, to drive specific performance metrics.
- Strong skills in project management, vendor negotiation, and budget control.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a creative, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing.
- Previous experience working within a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology company.
- Experience managing partnerships specifically aimed at lead generation with HR consultants and brokers.
Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000 annually. In addition to base pay, we provide a comprehensive rewards package that includes:
