Events Management Specialist at Rise

From our humble beginnings, we have expanded our reach to serve business and wholesale customers in Manila, Cebu, and Davao. By working alongside our technical partner, Pathfinders, we maintain industry-leading installation times and operate critical infrastructure like the GetaFIX Internet eXchange and our Open Access Network. We foster a performance-based culture where team members take ownership of their work, and we prioritize transparency through regular check-ins and quarterly reviews. We are currently looking for a Senior Events Management Specialist to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity.

Key outcomes

• Take charge of the end-to-end planning, management, and execution of company events and marketing activities.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing department to ensure all events align with our broader brand engagement goals.
• Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing and contract negotiations.
• Develop and oversee event budgets to ensure strict adherence to financial targets.
• Conceptualize and implement improvements for future event strategies.
• Coordinate the creation and review of marketing collateral required for all activities.
• Maintain thorough documentation and provide detailed reports on event performance and success.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in marketing and event management.
• Deep expertise in the planning and execution of successful events.
• Strong project management skills combined with the ability to multitask in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience in managing relationships with customers and vendors.
• Proficiency in content writing, creation, and management.
• Solid background in documentation and reporting practices.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of various promotional and marketing platforms.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with CRM systems, such as Hubspot.
