Events Coordinator at Sewer AI

At SewerAI, we are transforming the way cities and engineering firms manage their infrastructure. By utilizing cutting edge artificial intelligence, our platform reduces the costs and labor associated with pipeline inspections, effectively automating the identification of defects like cracks and grease. We are a VC-backed Series B startup that is currently expanding our reach, and we are looking for a talented Events Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary project manager for our conferences and webinars, helping us grow our brand while working in a hybrid environment across the United States.

Key outcomes

• Take full ownership of the logistics and scheduling for both virtual and in-person tradeshows, including the procurement of booths and promotional materials.
• Support our sales team by organizing field programs, managing attendee lists, and handling venue sourcing.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to create post-event recaps, ensuring we capture feedback and maintain engagement with our leads.
• Manage on-site operations during events to guarantee a seamless experience for all participants.
• Oversee the shipping and packaging of all event assets, such as promotional items and hardware.
• Maintain our internal event calendars and planning documentation while coordinating with the accounting department to manage purchase orders and timely payments.
• Provide regular updates to cross-functional teams regarding event progress, potential challenges, and strategic solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should possess a strong background in project management and event execution. We require candidates to be fluent in English and demonstrate a creative mindset when developing event concepts. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you can manage multiple projects simultaneously. We value individuals who are proactive and capable of communicating effectively across various departments.

Preferred qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in event planning, ideally within a SaaS startup setting.
• Exceptional project management skills and the ability to handle complex logistics.
• A willingness to travel as required by our event schedule.
