Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and organized young professional to support the execution of our company events and partner and sponsored activations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event and partner marketing within the fintech and cryptocurrency industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Execution:
- Assist in planning and executing the event strategy, including conferences and special event activations, physical and hybrid events.
- Support the creation of engaging event experiences for the crypto community and clients. Maintain company events calendar.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue scouting, travel, and vendor management.
- Live-day support. Ensure smooth on-site event execution.
Vendor and Budget Management:
- Assisted in vendor selection, RFQs, onboarding, and contract management for events.
- Liaise with suppliers to meet event requirements and deadlines.
- Support negotiations to optimize service delivery and pricing.
Partnerships and Sponsorships:
- Support the development and execution of partnership strategies.
- Assist in creating partnership proposals and tracking deliverables.
- Coordinate sponsorship activation efforts and ensure timely execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to leverage partnerships for growth.
Marketing and Communications:
- Assisted in the development of event-related marketing materials and content (social media and email campaigns)
- Coordinate internal communications for event-related initiatives.
- Contribute to post-event reporting, feedback collection, and performance analysis.
Qualifications:
- Recent graduate or final-year student in Marketing, Business, Event Management, Communications, or a related field. Or simply willing to do a career shift.
- Interest in financial services, fintech, or cryptocurrency sectors.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a dynamic remote environment.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, and familiarity with event management platforms (Lu.ma, Cvent, Eventbrite) and design tools (Figma, Canva) is a plus.

Qualifications:

Xapo Device Policy
Consultants joining Xapo Bank must comply with the Xapo Device Policy, which governs the use of corporate-approved laptops under Corporate-Owned, Personally Purchased Device (reimbursed up to $1,500) or Corporate-Owned, Personally Enabled Device (personal device with enforced security controls).
All devices must meet security requirements, enroll in Xapo’s Mobile Device Management (MDM), and adhere to compliance rules. COPPD devices remain Xapo property with buyback options upon exit. COPED users agree to data control measures, including mandatory corporate data wipes.
Compliance with the Xapo Device Policy is mandatory for all consultants, onboarding will not proceed without adherence to the policy.
