Engineering Manager at SPLICE

As we continue to scale, we are looking for a leader who can balance high-level strategy with hands-on technical contributions to help us maintain our competitive edge in the industry.

What you'll be doing

• You will recruit, mentor, and grow our engineering team, taking ownership of the hiring roadmap and the onboarding process for new talent.
• You will guide a group of entrepreneurial engineers to architect and build high-value features, while also collaborating with our external development partners to ensure our sprints are effective and well-aligned with our goals.
• You will dedicate about 25 percent of your time to hands-on development, diving into our Python backend and React frontend to support the team and stay connected to the codebase.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software development and team leadership. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer with proficiency in Python and React.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in leadership, specifically managing and hiring engineering teams of 3 or more direct reports.
• A proven ability to own the full software development life cycle and drive complex technical projects.
• Deep familiarity with Agile development methodologies and processes.
• A solid understanding of the marketing and agency landscape, with bonus points for experience in fintech, payments, or DevOps.
• Fluency in English to effectively collaborate with our stakeholders and leadership team.
