The role

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a leadership position where you will oversee our Data Connectors team, guiding a group of talented engineers as they build robust, scalable solutions for diverse data ecosystems. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical roadmap while fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and operational excellence.

Core responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, ensuring that every member is aligned with our mission and supported in their professional development.
• Own the development roadmap for our data connectors, collaborating closely with backend, API, and UI teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet our customers' needs.
• Provide technical guidance on architecting scalable systems while championing the adoption of modern practices to enhance platform performance and reliability.

Skills and experience

• Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring engineering teams within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical background in backend systems, including proficiency with JVM-based languages.
• Hands-on experience with modern infrastructure and messaging tools such as Kubernetes and Kafka.
• Deep understanding of APIs, including REST and gRPC, and a track record of solving large-scale data engineering challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and business objectives.
• Fluency in English.

Compensation and benefits

The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $220,000 USD. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being and future, including:
