As the first mobile app in the United States that allows users to securely order official state lottery tickets for games like Powerball and Mega Millions, we are modernizing a massive global market. What is this role?
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a leadership position where you will report directly to our VP of Engineering. You will be responsible for guiding our backend e-commerce team, fostering professional growth among your reports, and driving the strategic delivery of our technical projects as our business continues its rapid expansion.
What will you do?
- Lead our engineering organization by ensuring the timely delivery of technical solutions that meet our evolving business goals.
- Provide daily management and oversight for multiple teams, focusing on mentorship, coaching, and career development to ensure high levels of employee engagement.
- Drive our recruitment and employer branding strategy to help us scale our engineering team effectively.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have at least two years of experience leading teams within a fast-paced software development environment. We are looking for someone who has a proven history of managing both backend and front-end engineers while delivering high-quality technical solutions. You should be comfortable working with Ruby and RESTful services, and you should have a solid understanding of DevOps processes. Experience with project management and a working knowledge of recruitment strategies are essential. If you have experience leveraging AI tools to boost productivity, that is considered a significant plus.
What's in it for you?
We offer a base salary range of $190,000 to $210,000. In addition to competitive compensation, this role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere.
