As an Engineering Manager for our Marketing and Privacy team, you will lead a collaborative group of engineers to build innovative systems that drive growth while maintaining our deep commitment to data security and user privacy.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and lead an engineering team, fostering an environment of inclusivity, continuous learning, and high performance.
- Partner with Marketing, Data Science, and Legal teams to develop technical strategies that align business growth with strict privacy and compliance standards.
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure systems, including marketing automation tools and analytics pipelines.
- Ensure our infrastructure remains compliant with regulations like GDPR and CCPA by identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Champion engineering best practices, such as automated testing, code reviews, and the use of CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage the full lifecycle of team talent, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
Must-haves
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in software engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, such as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead.
- Expertise in full stack development, system design, and distributed systems within cloud architectures.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL, including database modeling.
- Practical experience with privacy-focused technologies and marketing systems like customer segmentation tools or analytics pipelines.
- A proven track record of implementing technical solutions to meet privacy compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders toward a shared vision.
Benefits
The salary range for this role is $152,000 to $257,000, depending on your location and experience. We also provide the following perks:
