Role at a glance
We are hiring an Engineering Manager to lead our Core Services team on a full-time, hybrid basis. The role is open to candidates with manager-level experience and can be performed from locations across the United States.
Your impact
- Act as the technical leader for the Core team, setting priorities, guiding roadmap execution, and contributing code to keep our account systems, control plane, data plane, and deployment orchestrator running smoothly.
- Mentor engineers through career planning, performance reviews, and regular feedback while fostering a culture of growth and inclusion.
- Coordinate with peer engineering managers across the organization so other teams can reliably build on the foundational compute services your group owns.
What you'll need
We're looking for someone who brings a mix of hands-on technical depth and proven people leadership. You hold a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in deployment infrastructure or cluster computing and three years managing engineering teams. You have guided engineers through performance reviews and career development, collaborated with product counterparts to deliver projects, and driven clear processes that help a team own its charter. Experience scaling organizations while building diverse, inclusive cultures is essential, and you communicate fluently in English.
