The role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our AI Platform team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in the United States. In this role, you will guide a talented group of engineers responsible for the software systems that power our platform, including the services used to train and serve generative AI models and the core technologies that manage training data.

Core responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of AI engineers while fostering a culture of open communication and technical excellence.
• Drive the development of scalable AI systems and interactive workflows that enable new capabilities within our platform.
• Partner closely with product management, applied research, and our field teams to translate complex customer needs into robust, production-ready AI solutions.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in both technical leadership and machine learning. We are looking for candidates who have:

• Proven experience leading and managing AI engineering teams in a professional setting.
• Hands-on expertise with AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• A solid understanding of ML pipelines, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• A degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, with a PhD being considered a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for this position is $250,000.00 to $275,000.00. We provide a comprehensive benefits package to support our team members and their families, which includes:
