At Alertus, our mission is to protect people from harm. As a leader in the mass notification industry, we provide scalable, customizable, and cost-effective solutions that save lives during emergencies. We believe our employees are the heart of our success, and we foster a collaborative, positive environment where team members from all departments work together to make a real impact on safety and well-being.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Email Marketing Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role that requires you to report to our Baltimore headquarters for onboarding, training, and periodic in-person team activities. You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of our email campaigns, from initial concept to final deployment, helping us drive customer growth and retention through creative, value-driven communication.
What will you do?
- Own the end-to-end email campaign process, including setup, list hygiene, quality assurance testing, scheduling, and deployment of dynamic and triggered content.
- Execute comprehensive marketing automation, drip programs, and landing page strategies while maintaining our contact database for highly targeted outreach.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document communication requests and troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates or list segmentation to ensure campaign success.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should be a self-starter with a strong background in marketing and product management. We are looking for someone who brings the following expertise:
- Five to seven years of experience working with the Salesforce and Pardot suite, including an advanced understanding of their object relationship models.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS, allowing you to build and edit email templates, forms, and landing pages independently.
- A deep understanding of email marketing best practices, lead scoring, and global compliance regulations like CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Excellent written communication skills and a proven ability to report on key performance indicators, such as lead generation and conversion metrics.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
What's in it for you?
We value our employees and offer a robust benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and future. Our perks include:
- Unlimited paid time off and paid holidays.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- A 401(k) retirement plan to help you save for the future.
- Financial protection through short-term disability, accident, hospital, and cancer insurance.
- Additional incentives, including a live near your work homebuying program and employee referral bonuses.
- Flexible scheduling and a collaborative hybrid work environment.
