We are currently looking for a dedicated engineer to join our Hardware Test Engineering team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the high reliability of our V-BAT vehicle by creating innovative, in-house testing solutions that perform under both standard and harsh environmental conditions.
About the Role
We are hiring for an Electrical Test & Rapid Prototype Engineer II. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will focus on designing electrical and mechanical equipment for component and system-level testing. You will have the opportunity to work across various disciplines, including power electronics and RF, while helping us deliver industry-leading aerospace hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the requirements, design, and validation process for various test stands used to evaluate V-BAT subsystems.
- Develop test fixtures and stands that incorporate components like PLCs, relays, and custom PCBAs to interface with devices under test.
- Write automated test sequences using Python to streamline our hardware validation efforts.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in engineering principles and a passion for hardware development. Our requirements include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- A strong grasp of fundamental concepts in physics, mathematics, programming, and mechanical engineering.
- Proven experience working on multidisciplinary hardware projects, whether through professional roles, internships, or personal initiatives.
- A track record of taking initiative, delivering results, and working collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency with Python or similar scripting languages is highly preferred.
- Experience with Altium or other PCB schematic and layout tools, as well as CAD software like SolidWorks.
