What you bring
We are looking for a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join our R&D team on a full-time basis. This role is based on-site in Los Angeles, California. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and prototyping electrical and electromechanical systems for our carbon capture reactors. Your primary duties will include:
- Rapidly developing electronics for reactors and infrastructure, including high power systems, control hardware, and instrumentation.
- Creating and reviewing electrical load lists and piping and instrumentation diagrams for our facilities.
- Leading system trades, component selection, schematic capture, and rigorous testing campaigns to validate our designs.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, robotics, physics, or a related STEM discipline. We require at least three years of design experience, which can include time spent on internships or student projects. You should be proficient in electrical CAD and analysis software, such as Altium. We value candidates who possess strong judgment, the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, and a hands-on approach to engineering and integration. Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential, as you will be collaborating across multiple disciplines to solve complex challenges.
What we offer
