Electrical Engineer at Fuse

We are Fuse, and we are working to speed up the global shift toward fusion energy. Our primary innovation is TITAN, an Impedance Matched Marx Generator that stands as the most powerful and efficient machine of its kind. Our team has already successfully built and licensed two unique pulsed power generators, Magical Unicorn and FAETON I. We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our early-stage company, where you will take full ownership of your objectives and help us push the boundaries of what is possible in pulsed power technology.

What you'll be doing

• You will design schematics and layouts for PCBs using Altium Designer or similar professional software.
• You will simulate complex electronic circuits to ensure performance and reliability using Spice.
• You will configure and manage Data Acquisition systems, including the calibration and integration of various sensors.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should be a humble, driven, and tenacious individual who is ready to work hard on a monumental challenge. You must also meet the following requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least one year of hands-on experience with PCB design and circuit simulation.
• Proven experience managing Data Acquisition systems and sensor calibration.
• A strong ability to work collaboratively within a team to deliver high-impact results.
• Proficiency in C++ programming is considered a highly desirable skill.
• The ability and willingness to travel bi-coastally and work extended hours or weekends when the mission requires it.
• Because we work with sensitive technology, you must be a U.S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident, or a protected individual as defined by ITAR regulations.
