Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer III to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a high-impact role for an experienced engineer with 5 to 10 years of professional background. You will be working directly out of our Colorado Springs facility, contributing to our mission of solving complex industry challenges through innovation and technical excellence.
Your impact
- Lead the design, assembly, and rigorous testing of circuit boards specifically built for microelectronic evaluation.
- Execute radiation effects testing on microelectronic devices, both within our own laboratory facilities and at external test sites.
- Take ownership of the documentation process by developing comprehensive test plans and detailed reports for all radiation testing activities.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We require the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, though an advanced degree is highly valued.
- Between 5 and 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
- Proficiency in English.
- Technical expertise in areas such as PCB design using tools like KiCAD or Altium, benchtop debugging, and embedded systems.
- Experience with Python, C or C++, and Hardware Description Languages like Verilog or VHDL is highly desirable.
- A background in mixed signal design, high-speed data acquisition, or working with radiation test facilities is a major plus.
