We serve as an industry leader in radiation survivability for both space-based and ground-based defense systems. Our team of experts provides comprehensive solutions, ranging from the simulation of radiation environments to the design and evaluation of optical materials, sensors, and electronics. With laboratory facilities located in Colorado Springs and Huntsville, we are currently seeking a senior-level Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team. This is an on-site, full-time position where you will contribute to our mission of solving complex challenges in the aerospace and defense sectors.
Key outcomes
- Design, assemble, and conduct testing on circuit boards intended for the evaluation of microelectronics.
- Execute radiation effects testing on microelectronic devices at both our internal facilities and external test sites.
- Author detailed test plans and comprehensive reports following the completion of radiation testing.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Between 5 and 10 years of professional experience in the industry.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- The ability to secure and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
Preferred qualifications
- An advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience creating electrical schematics and PCB layouts using tools like KiCAD or Altium.
- Practical experience with benchtop debugging and testing of circuit boards.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and FPGAs.
- Programming skills in C, C++, or Python.
- Experience with Hardware Description Languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
- Background in high-speed data acquisition and mixed-signal design.
- Previous exposure to nuclear physics or professional work within radiation test facilities.
Compensation
We provide a salary range of $105,000 to $125,000, with final compensation determined based on your specific experience. Our benefits package includes company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance. Additionally, we offer a retirement plan with company matching and a profit-sharing program.
